Nederlandse Vereniging voor Libellenstudie

Libellen
Op 1 maart 1997 werd de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Libellenstudie (NVL) opgericht. Het doel van de vereniging is het stimuleren van de studie naar en de bescherming van libellen van soorten die in Nederland voorkomen. Hierbij werkt de NVL samen met een aantal andere natuurbeschermingsorganisaties, zoals De Vlinderstichting en EIS-Nederland. De vereniging heeft meer dan 450 leden. Ook kent de NVL een aantal provinciale- en regionale Libellenwerkgroepen in Nederland.

 

March 1997 the Dutch Society for Dragonfly Studies (NVL) was started and brings both amateur and professional dragonfly investigators together. Main objective is stimulating research and taking care researchers are able to contact each other. Therefore it sometimes organizes field trips, weekend meetings and a yearly Dragonfly study day. It also publishes the periodical Brachytron filled with articles on mainly the Dutch dragonfly fauna. News concerning the association is distributed by means of a newsletter.
